Possible causes

– Faulty Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor
– Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor harness is open or shorted
– Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

Transmission Control Module (TCM) detects excessively high voltage from the fluid temperature sensor.

Symptoms
