DTC P0033 | Air bypass valve position sensor open circuit |
---|---|
DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The PCM monitors the input voltage from the air bypass valve position sensor. If the voltages at PCM terminal 233 deviates from the threshold, the PCM determines that the there is an air bypass valve position sensor circuit problem.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Air bypass valve position sensor malfunction
• Connector or terminal malfunction
• Open circuit in the wiring harness between air bypass valve position sensor terminal F and PCM terminal 206
• Open circuit in the wiring harness between air bypass valve position sensor terminal A and PCM terminal 233
• Open circuit in the wiring harness between air bypass valve position sensor terminal B and PCM terminal 105
• PCM malfunction
