Mazda P2002 | Diesel particulate trap efficiency below threshold |
---|---|
DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The PCM monitors the exhaust pressure before and after the diesel particulate filter, using the diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor. If the pressure difference is below calibrated value, the PCM determines that the diesel particulate filter trap efficiency is below threshold.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Particulate filter differential pressure sensor malfunction
• Loose or poor installation particular filter differential pressure sensor pipe
• Exhaust gas leakage in exhaust system
• Diesel particulate filter restriction and/or damaged
• Scheduled maintenance does not have followed
• No fuel additive in fuel additive tank
• PCM malfunction
|
