Manufacturer summary
Original wording in English
Some 2017-2019 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P2B11, P2B13, P2B15, P2B17, P2B19, P2B1B, P2B1D and/or P2B1F. If these codes have set with a customer complaint of abnormal steering wheel oscillation, clear these DTCs and address any steering related concerns. If these DTCs do not return, do not make any fuel injector related repairs. The abnormal steering wheel oscillation event may be generating noise on the camshaft or crankshaft sensor frequency resulting in these DTCs to set.
NHTSA manufacturer communications ↗Repeated filings are grouped only when make, bulletin number, publication date and complete summary agree. Original record numbers are retained. Older publications remain available, and an explicit later version is shown when established. Pre-1994 vehicle associations are separated from default results; an unspecified year does not mean all model years apply.
