Manufacturer summary

Original wording in English

Some 2020-2021 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with only diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0315 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). If no drivability concerns are present, clear the DTC and retest. If the DTC returns, perform normal diagnostics per the Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis (PC/ED) Manual. If the DTC does not return, inform the customer that Ford is developing a PCM software fix that is expected in June, 2021. Advise the customer that vehicle durability is not affected by the condition and they can continue to drive the vehicle. Schedule a follow up appointment for repair in June, 2021. Monitor OASIS for updates.

Repeated filings are grouped only when make, bulletin number, publication date and complete summary agree. Original record numbers are retained. Older publications remain available, and an explicit later version is shown when established. Pre-1994 vehicle associations are separated from default results; an unspecified year does not mean all model years apply.
