Manufacturer summary

Original wording in English

Some 2020-2022 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.2L or 7.3L gas engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0339 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) or the vehicle may exhibit a runs rough concern with no DTCs. This may be due to a concern with contamination on the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor. If pinpoint test JD in the Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis (PC/ED) Manual leads to CKP sensor replacement, inspect the sensor for contamination and document the results in the warranty claim. Use causal part 6C315 and utilize labor operation 12650D57D in the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

Repeated filings are grouped only when make, bulletin number, publication date and complete summary agree. Original record numbers are retained. Older publications remain available, and an explicit later version is shown when established. Pre-1994 vehicle associations are separated from default results; an unspecified year does not mean all model years apply.
