Some of the vehicles listed in the Model Statement above may exhibit all of the following conditions: * Illuminated power train malfunction (wrench) indicator/malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P1299, P1285 and/or P2C39 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). * "Engine Over-Temperature" and/or Service Vehicle Soon warning message(s) displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) This may be due to the software in the PCM and/or the CHT sensor. Note: The vehicle's cooling fan will operate normally with no loss of engine coolant.
NHTSA manufacturer communications ↗Repeated filings are grouped only when make, bulletin number, publication date and complete summary agree. Original record numbers are retained. Older publications remain available, and an explicit later version is shown when established. Pre-1994 vehicle associations are separated from default results; an unspecified year does not mean all model years apply.
