VeDoc > Vehicle Information for Control Units (below reference, vehicle is on 1.3.0) The driver assistance control unit N62/5 Processor will also have an active and stored DTC U142791 - "Implausible data were received from the control unit 'Head unit'. The parameter is outside the permissible range." Cause Under Determination. Remedy New MB.OS update by June 09, 2026 at the latest for 1.3.10. If date is prior to June 09, 2026, vehicle can be released. The message just needs to be cleared on startup in the instrument cluster and all ADAS systems function. If not, open a TIPS case to Body, Chassis, and Entertainment inbox.
NHTSA manufacturer communications ↗Repeated filings are grouped only when make, bulletin number, publication date and complete summary agree. Original record numbers are retained. Older publications remain available, and an explicit later version is shown when established. Pre-1994 vehicle associations are separated from default results; an unspecified year does not mean all model years apply.
