ISUZU · 2016-07-13

AN INVESTIGATION OF THE PARTICULATE MATTER (PM) SENSOR HAS SHOWN THAT SENSORS ARE BEING UNNECESSARILY REPLACED. ISUZU HAS IDENTIFIED A COMMON OCCURRENCE OF AN ILLUMINATED MALFUNCTION INDICATION LIGHT (MIL) WITH DTC P24C7 SET IN THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM). THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF RETURNED PM SENSORS, WE HAVE DETERMINED THE SENSORS WERE NOT THE CAUSE OF THIS DTC SETTING. THIS DTC MAY BE RESOLVED BY REPROGRAMMING THE ECM WITH THE REVISED CALIBRATION.
