Complaint The trunk lid does not open or close completely and must be operated manually by the customer. The following fault codes are stored in the PTCM control unit: • P1CA000 • B188C2A Cause If the trunk lid is repeatedly opened manually or the vehicle has experienced undervoltage, the trunk lid loses its normalization due to faulty software coding. Remedy For vehicles with a production date up to 01/22/26 (SL (232)) or 01/27/26 (GT (192)) 1. Update the HKS N121/1 control unit and perform SCN coding. (If no new software is available, still perform SCN coding) 2. Perform normalization of component 'N121/1 (Liftgate control control unit)'.
