Technician should be advised if there are any issues with the rotational position sensor, incremental position sensor, encoder motor, motor A or B circuits, rotational position sensor or incremental position sensor circuits when the transfer case control module attempts to determine location the location cannot be determined correctly.

If Diagnostic Trouble Code C0710 Sym 71 is set it must be addressed firth before performing a steering gear "set-up" in Service Programming System. Steering Angle Sensor module Diagnostic Trouble Code C056D Sym 00 and it must be address first. Technician should be advised that Diagnostic Trouble Codes DTC C056E Sym 42 or C0569 Sym 3A will set when a steering gear assembly was replaced without Service Programming System programming.
