This may be due to the 15525 transmission wire harness not being properly secured. Visually inspect the harness for possible damage and proper routing at the rear of the engine down to the transmission. Repair as necessary. If no damage is found, proceed with normal diagnostics.

This may be caused by excessive network traffic on the controller area network (CAN) Bus causing the FCIM to lock up. Before replacing the FCIM, complete a battery reset, clear all DTCs and run a FCIM self-test. If the issue is still present, follow normal diagnosis. For claiming, use causal part 18842 and applicable labor operations in section 10 of the service labor time standards (SLTS) manual.
