New Continental GT/GTC - Additional Cooling Pump - Diagnostic Trouble Code Customer statement / workshop findings Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminated on the Driver Instrument Panel (DIP). Fault code P26F500: Coolant pump C control circuit low stored within the Engine Control Unit (ECU). Technical background Note: Applicable only to vehicles without Park Heater. It is possible for the Additional Coolant Pump to corrode internally resulting in an electrical short circuit, MIL illumination and a fault code stored within the ECU. Measure Vehicles with a build date earlier than 15/07/2019 that have fault code P26F500: Coolant pump C control circuit low stored within the ECU require the Additional Coolant Pump to be exchanged for the new series production part - 06D.121.601.
