Mazda Factory OBD-II DTC P1103 Code Diagnostic Procedure

P1103 Mass air flow (MAF) sensor in range but higher than expected
DETECTION CONDITION
•  The PCM compares actual input from MAF sensor with expected MAF amount that PCM calculates by engine running condition. If the actual MAF signal is excessive higher than expected value, the PCM determines that the MAF sensor signal is higher than expected.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  MAF sensor malfunction
•  Electrical corrosion in MAF sensor ground circuit
•  Voltage drops in ground circuit
•  PCM malfunction
