Mazda P242F | Diesel particulate filter restriction-ash accumulation |
---|---|
DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The PCM monitors the exhaust pressure before and after the diesel particulate filter, using the diesel particular filter differential pressure sensor. If the pressure difference is above calibrated value, the PCM determines that the diesel particulate filter is restricted by ash.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Particular filter differential pressure sensor malfunction
• Loose or poor installation particular filter differential pressure sensor downstream side pipe
• Exhaust gas leakage after diesel particular filter
• Diesel particulate filter restriction and/or damaged
• MAF sensor malfunction
• EGR system malfunction
• Air bypass valve malfunction
• Intake throttle malfunction
• Fuel additive system malfunction
• Base engine malfunction
• Scheduled maintenance does not have followed
• FACM malfunction
• PCM malfunction
