Mazda P2552 | Throttle/fuel inhibit circuit / open circuit |
---|---|
DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The PCM monitors fuel injector operation using the fuel rail pressure signal while the engine is running. If the PCM detects that both the fuel rail pressure decrease value at injection timing and increase value except for injection timing are below the threshold, the PCM determines that the fuel injector has a open circuit.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Fuel injector mechanical malfunction (stuck open or closed)
• Fuel injector electrical malfunction (solenoid valve coil open)
• Fuel pressure sensor malfunction
• Open circuit in wiring harness between fuel injector and PCM
• PCM malfunction
|
