If the P0217 Chrysler code is present and there are no coolant leaks, start by servicing the coolant system and replacing the thermostat to resolve the problem.
What about the obd code?
Engine coolant temperature is excessively high under normal engine speed.

P0217 Chrysler Description
The Engine Control Module (ECM) monitors the engine coolant temperature with the engine running. The P0217 Chrysler code is set when the temperature is higher than normal even and there is no heavy load to the engine.
