Collision Warning And Lane Keep Assist Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle must exhibit/set one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): ● B178F-15 - Turn Signal Switch-circuit Short To Battery Or Open. ● B1051-15 - Column Switch Module Turnlights - Circuit Short To Battery Or Open. Customers may also comment on the following: ● The collision warning light and lane-keeping light Fig. 1 illuminate on the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) when the steering wheel is turned. NOTE: There are no other abnormal behaviors in the vehicle due to this concer This bulletin involves replacing the signal lever assembly.

MODULE Steering Control Before replacing the steering column control module (SCCM) due to front or rear windshield wiper operation / blindspot inop / lane assistant inop/ DTC B178F-15 active, please follow these steps: 1.- Refer to TSB-08-219-24 MP - Rear Windshield Wipers Operate Continuously and TSB 08-136-24 REV. A - Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Module Update. 2.- Verify if failure is still present (review wipers, turn signal, blindspot and lane assistant status) and if DTCs still active. 3.- If failure still present, make sure all the switches' and airbag's harness are properly connected and there is no corrosion, disconnect the switches & reconnect them, and reverify the issue. 4.- Read at the BCM diagnosis session if BCM is receiving information from SCCM.
