Some 2024 Mustang vehicles may exhibit an illuminated MIL with DTC P059F stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to a loose and/or detached vane on the active grille shutter from the factory. To correct this concern, replace the active grille shutter. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 501-02 Front End Body Panels > Removal and Installation > Active Grille Shutter. For claiming, use causal part 8475 and applicable labor times in Section 12 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

This may be due to water in the jumper harness connector C1651 and the attached connector on the active grill shutter actuator. Remove connector, clean and dry, add electrical grease Motorcraft XG-12 or equivalent to the terminals. Engineering is investigating, monitor OASIS for updates.
