Some 2024-2025 Ranger vehicles equipped with a cargo box power point plug may exhibit a condition where all interior/exterior power outlets/plugs are inoperative with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1330:9A stored in the body control module (BCM). This may be due to an inoperative light emitting diode (LED) in the cargo box power point plug. To correct the condition, replace the cargo box power point plug (service base part number 19A464). Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 414-05 > Removal and Installation > Alternating Current (AC) Power Outlet Socket > Cargo Box Power Point Plug. For claiming, use causal part 19A464 and labor operation MT19A464SSM up to 0.6 hours.

This article supersedes TSB 24-2443 to update the vehicles affected. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above equipped with the 400-watt direct current/alternating current (DC/AC) inverter system (minor feature code HUKAJ) with a pickup bed alternating current (AC) power outlet socket may exhibit inoperative power outlets with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1330:9A stored in the body control module (BCM). This may be due to a connection issue at C4628. NOTE: This article does not apply to vehicles with an inverter system other than the 400-watt DC/AC inverter system with a pickup bed AC power outlet socket.

This article supersedes TSB 24-2020 to add minor feature code HUKAJ to the required vehicle criteria. Some 2021-2023 F-150 vehicles equipped with the minor feature code HUKAJ (400 watt direct current/alternating current (DC/AC) inverter system with a pickup bed alternating current (AC) power outlet socket) may experience the DC/AC inverter system inoperative with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1330:9A stored in the body control module (BCM). To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner in the Professional Technician System (PTS). This may be due to a connection issue at C4628

Some 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles may set DTCs B109F:55, B1330:9A, U0252:87, U0198:87, U0184:87, U0155:87, U0256:87, and/or U0100:87 in the BCM when a diagnostic self-test is performed. This may be due to an incorrect sequence of an internal measurement unit during self-test causing a false history status DTC (0x48 or 0x08 status). The DTC matures to history status because the BCM detects nothing is wrong. Replacement or reprogramming of the BCM will not resolve this condition. B109F:55, B1330:9A, U0252:87, U0198:87, U0184:87, U0155:87, U0256:87, and/or U0100:87 should be ignored if: no other DTCs are present in the BCM, the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is not illuminated while the engine is running, and no drivability concerns are present. No further service action is required.

Some 2021 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 400W alternating current (AC) power outlet system may experience the AC power outlet system being inoperative and DTC B1330:9A stored in the BCM. This may be due to a connection and/or outlet issue at any of the 3 AC power outlets. If this concern is present, closely inspect C4628 at the pickup bed AC outlet for possible connection and/or contamination issues and repair as necessary. If there are no connection or contamination issues present at C4628, or a repair has been made AC power outlet system, you must download and run the Reset the Battery Monitoring Sensor Learned Values app (routine 203A) in the FDRS to relearn the direct current/alternating current converter module A (DCACA) outlet configuration and retest. If the B1330:9A persists,…
