CUSTOMER SATISFACTION: IN SOME 2025-2026MY ISUZU NRR-EV VEHICLES, CUSTOMERS MAY EXPERIENCE HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY CHARGING ISSUES WHERE CHARGING MAY BE UNEXPECTEDLY INTERRUPTED. VEHICLES EXHIBITING THESE CHARGING ISSUES MAY SET DTCS P0E89 OBC INPUT CURRENT TOO HIGH AND/OR P0D22 QUICK CHARGE FAILURE IN THE VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT AND CAUSE THE EV SYSTEM MALFUNCTION AMBER WARNING LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THIS CONDITION MAY BE RESOLVED BY REPROGRAMMING THE VCU WITH A REVISED CALIBRATION.

Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code P0D22. Technician will need to review the Diagnostic Trouble Code P0D22 freeze frame data in Global Diagnostic System 2 that it is stored in a session log. Technician should clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code. If charging returns to normal using both a 240 volt charger as well as a 120 volt charger during testing, the vehicle can be released. Dealer should communicate to the customer that we apologize for this inconvenience and that General Motors is working on a solution for this concern.
