The service shifter message comes on in the cluster and the lever gets stuck in park "P" and it can be present the follwoing DTC: - U11E3 - TCM Lost communication with ESM on D-PT CAN - U0103 - Lost communication with Electric Gear Shift Module - U0101- Lost communication with DTCM - U0418 - Implausible Data Received From Brake System Control Module - U0402 - Implausible data received from TCM **NOTE: Prior any shifter replacement Refer to TSB-21-016-25 2024-2025 WS - Valve Body Replacement. Flash: Electronic Shift Module (ESM) Enhancement This bulletin involves updating the software in the Electronic Shift Module. The customer may experience an intermittent inability to shift into any gear range. This condition should only last a few seconds. If this condition happens when driving in any forward gear, the transmission will default to drive. If the vehicle is in reverse, the transmission will default to neutral. If the transmission is in park or neutral the transmission will not change gear selection. The customer may indicate that they may have experienced any of the following: ? 4x4 Low Mode shift quality during a medium to heavy throttle ? MIL Illumination for DTC P215C - OUTPUT SHAFT SPEED WHEEL SPEED CORRELATION In addition, calibration changes have been made in the following areas to improve: ? Powertrain braking while in Tow/Haul mode ? Downshift response from a medium to heavy pedal ? Drivability at high altitude ? Acceleration performance during cruise control operation This calibration release also corrects a condition where DTC U11C3 may have been displayed when DTC U11E3 should have been displayed resulting in a possible misdiagnosis.
