This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have Check Engine Lamp on. Technician will find Diagnostic Trouble Code P0111 set. Technician will need to update the Engine Control Module with the latest calibrations in Tis-2-Web when working on a 2011 and 2012. Dealer should communicate to the customer that we apologize for this inconvenience and that General Motors is working on a solution for this concern on 2013 model years.
