Flash: Motor Control Processor A (MCP A) Updates 6B3 Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle must SYMPTOM: exhibit/set one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): ● P1E18-00 - Internal Control Module Electronic Park Performance. ● P1625-00 - Park Pawl System Failure. ● P0A78-00 - Drive Motor A Inverter Performance. ● P0A79-00 - Drive Motor B Inverter Performance. ● P1626-00 - Park Pawl Motor Stuck. The customer may comment on one or more of the following symptoms: ● Vehicle not shutting off and a draining 12V battery. ● Vehicle no start. ● Wrench icon is illuminated on the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). ● Turtle icon illuminated on the IPC. ● Reduced power. ● Vehicle will not shift out of park. This bulletin involves reprogramming the IDCM, BPCM, MCP A, MCP B and the EVCU with the latest available software and then, if needed, performing a Wheel End Disconnect Position Learn routine.
