Related DTCs associated with the MIL include U116087, U016487, U100787, U012987, U010087, U100387, U100287, U010187, and U015587. Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 26-01-053H provides instructions to perform a Data Communication Unit (DCU) software update to prevent these conditions.

This may be due to loss of communication or incomplete module configuration. Before further diagnosis, complete a battery reset per the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 414-01. Clear the DTCs and complete a FCIM self-test. If the DTCs are no longer present, no further action is required. For claiming, use causal part 19980 and applicable labor operations in section 11 of the service labor time standards (SLTS) manual.
