Complaint One of the flush door handles (Also referred to as Seamless Door Handles) does not extend/retract (and/or) the KeylessGo sensor surfaces do not respond. Cause Multiple possible causes can be inferred from the table, see remedy (additionally as reference table in attachment). Remedy 1) KeylessGo sensor surfaces do not respond. Door handles can extend/retract if the key is used for locking/unlocking. No particular fault code. Complaint The surface-flush door handle sometimes does not retract when the vehicle is locked. It is only after repeated locking operation that the problematic door handle retracts. Cause Motor fault detection (FC B185E96 or B185D96) is triggered in the bearing bracket electronics of the surface-flush door handle (A17/x) during the retracting movement and an adjustment for this cycle is prevented. Remedy Replace bearing bracket of surface-flush door handle on problematic door.
